Dompet Dhuafa

Dompet Dhuafa (DD) is an Indonesian charity organization that collects zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf. DD has a Cordofa program that aims to promote knowledge of Islam globally.

Arief Syamsulaksana

Arief, a Computer Engineer, served as one of HUMIA's Board of Trustees in 2016-2018 and 2018-2020 after moving to Auckland from Perth in 2014.

During his service duty, HUMIA utilized his network with Nadlathul Ulama (NU), an Islamic organization in Indonesia, to approach scholars for teaching Islamic studies and giving sermons during Ramadan and Eids. Later, DD expressed its interest in collaborating with HUMIA, which has integrated charitable initiatives with DD and Cordofa scholars' dakwah into their operations.

The HUMIA platform is not limited to NU alone but is always open to other organizations and scholars as well.
